Well I actually also have a 14 yr old I’ve kept one day a week overnight since she was 9. Her single mom came to me and asked for help for a night off so I gladly accepted. We use to play a lot together but now all she wants to do is video chat with her boyfriend and friends. But we still make cookies, play ping pong, and go mall shopping.. I completely understand as children get older they want less and less to do with us adults. I knew that day would come, especially once they get into boys.
