Hogan is not a moderate Republican! He may look like it next to Trump, but keep in mind that he was kept in check by a Democratic legislature.

He is a died in the wool, solid right wing Republican.

He never had my vote, and no Republican ever will.

Because MoCo has left wing council with a few loons like Jawando and Reimer on it, and a left wing loon as CE, I will definitely consider voting for a Republican candidate for governor.

Agree to an extent. The problem with “moderate” republicans is that if they start eyeing higher office, they tend to lurch to the right. Hogan isn’t lurching so much as not really doing anything. His leadership on COVID has essentially vanished after being pretty good early on.

Nope. I voted for Hogan, and used to split my vote, but after the behavior of the GOP AND Trump I will n very vote for another republican again.

Prior to what is going on now with Republicans plating along with Trump's assault on democracy, I would have answered that I would vote for a moderate R over a liberal democrat and maybe a moderate R over a centrist democrat depending on the candidate. I would even possibly vote for a conservative republican over someone so far left as Jealous or Ehlrich. However after the latest steps the GOP has taken to try to overthrow the election I will never vote Republican again. Just can't do it.
