He’s targeting bars and late-night dining situations, where people are more likely to be drinking more than eating. That leads to closer socialization.
If he closes restaurants entirely, that will destroy them.

Yes, it's a small gesture. All Governors have to walk a tightrope and Hogan is doing it better than most. Which is not saying much!!! I'm on the side of closing more things, personally.

Who knows and who cares. he is a trauma surgeon. I'd rather he spend time with a patient rather than leave 20 min early before a patient is stabilized. And, imho, his message was to his fellow doctors around the state. They won't have a problem with him talking in scrubs.

It's SO easy for us to sit back and demand this but it's so much more complicated than that. These are jobs and people's lively hood. Waiters, hostesses and mom and pop restaurants would have no income. We have the luxury, the blessing, the ease of teleworking and get paid and so it's easy to call for these places to shut down.
Wrong. They are going to lose their jobs anyway as things spiral out of control. He could have taken action a month ago to try to avoid this surge but he didn't.
