DH here. Can confirm. I’ve had some pretty hot sex after my wife reads a steamy romance novel. I didn’t really get what was happening at first when she used to tell me not to talk unless its in a scottish accent. Lol. I wish she would read them more often!

Oh that is really disturbing to compare romantic sexual love to parental love. Just because the same word is used for both does not mean they’re the same thing at all. That’s like saying cars are better than fruit - both needed, both part of life, entirely incomparable or replaceable by the other. Ick
A lot of women give up on romantic love and sex in their marriage once they have kids. Why do you think so many men cheat? Not surprised at all by this answer
