That’s interesting, because I generally assume (unfairly, of course) that blue-eyed people are either evil or dumb, or a little of both.

I don't know if it's odd -- everyone has preferences. My family mostly have green or blue eyes, with the occasional hazel; husband's family all have brown eyes. (Same ethnic group by the way.) My kids both have very dark brown eyes. They're beautiful. But aesthetically I have to confess that I love blue eyes. My niece has gorgeous blue eyes and I am a tad jealous. Just like I'm a tad jealous that my sister has gorgeous thick hair and I don't. I'm not sitting here actively wishing my kids had a different eye color. But, yeah, if I were choosing an ideal eye color, it would be bright blue.

I can’t say it is wrong, but it is odd. By the way, my kids and I have blue eyes and they are greyish blue and small, while my husband has big clear brown eyes with gorgeous long lashes.

Having blue eyes doesn't make someone pretty, nor does it up their attractiveness factor. It just doesn't. Someone with a pretty face and nice body will be attractive regardless of their eye color, and someone without... well, you know.

I am brown eyed with two vividly blue-eyed kids. Husband's eyes are green. He and I each have a blue eyed parent. I am not offended at the preference as I personally don't consider eye color as a measure of attractiveness one way or the other.

I have green eyes, my DH has brown. His dad has blue eyes. I was hoping one of my children would have green eyes like me.
Nope. One has beautiful smooth milk chocolate brown eyes, the other is more hazel - more of a blend of my green eyes and my husbands brown eyes.
I’m not upset about it.

I love my blue eyes and my kids have blue eyes that are always complimented. I am grateful for our gorgeous blue eyes.

And, we are vegetarian, LOL.

The people offended by this stupid question are people with brown eyes TBH. I don't see how wanting a specific eye color is any different from hair color preferences, height, etc.
