Their admission team is nothing short of awful. We were so frustrated with the process we gave up before applying, know two families who pulled their applications because they couldn’t take the complete incompetence anymore.

Has some brilliant to very normal kids there, just like every other school. Very welcoming. But, if they know and love your family, it'll be an even better experience for you. So, I can see why some might claim nepotism. Nonetheless, I haven't met a family yet who actually attends the school with any complaints. They all say they love it! Liberal environment.

KEY - SOMEWHAT DIVERSE, DOES HAVE VARIOUS STUDENTS OF COLOR REPRESENTED, amazing students and teachers, great curriculum. The parent community seems split - either extremely happy or unhappy with the school. The admissions team leaves a lot to be desired; some aloof personalities. My child attended summer camp there and had a wonderful time. I on the other hand, experienced issues with admissions when they misled us with the title of a program. It was the total opposite of what was advertised. When I sought to get my money back, they went unresponsive. I kept quiet for the sake of my child. Very Liberal environment.

In my opinion Key’s campus is just depressing. People like Indian Creek. I found there admissions staff painful to deal with and just gave up.

Really? How so? I'm going through the process now and the staff has been one of the highlights for me. Very kind, extremely responsive, they've provided us with a lot of FaceTime to get to know the school, and well organized.

I still laugh thinking about the poor key school head of school trying to draft a statement for the press when that story broke. I feel like "we don't support selling nuclear secrets" was never included in teacher training programs.
