My neighborhood is doing the individual teats on a table idea. I think it is dumb because the risk seems the same as picking up candy from a bowl (surface transmission is NOT how this spreads), but I will play along.

I am, thanks. I have no patience for a broke country, with obese people, going nuts over candy, and dress up. Americans are so dumb, you have no idea what priorities of life should be. Dumbed down by TVs, laptops, and corn syrup.

NP here. I’ll take the priorities of enjoying a fun once-a-year holiday with my family and neighbors and friends, over bitterly stewing about how dumb and fat everyone is.

•Halloween movie nights at drive-in theaters (must comply with the public health drive-in movie theater guidance);
•Halloween-themed meals at outdoor restaurants (must comply with the restaurant protocol); and

To be fair, a person walking to multiple houses does seem like a good way to spread the dierese to a lot of people or someone in one of those houses giving it to a lot of people.

The only ones who won’t participate are the same wrinkled ninnies that hide out in their pitch black houses every year with their cats. As others have pointed out there are a dozen ways for neighborhoods to make trick or treating safe and it’ll go on.
