I always thought it was so weird that on 90210 the twins were Brandon and Brenda. Rather than Brendan and Brenda. Like why not go all the way?

I tend to “collect” and remember these names!

Twins:

Joel and Noel

Almost worse when non-twins/siblings have matching names;

Melissa and Melinda (sisters, born 5 years apart)

Theodore Lloyd and Leodore Boyd (from my family tree, born a year apart, circa 1900. Went by Teddy and Leo (as I would!)

Gabriella and Isabella (pretty, but I never can remember which one is which. They go by Gabi and Bella.)

They aren’t bad names, per se, but a woman I went to high school with had triplet girls. Her last name is a mouthful - 3 syllables and Polish ethnicity. The girls have really long, “princess” names but they all go by nicknames. Elleonora (Ellie), Andreana (Anna), and something else nicknamed Cassie, and it’s not Cassandra, it’s something completely made up.

The most educated woman I know - PhD in a hard STEM field + a MPH degree - had twins named McKarty and McKayla.

Tommy, Timmy and Tammy are the “small town famous” triplets in my hometown. They were born in 78-79.

They now go by Tom, Tim, and Tamra

Ha! I know a Sam and Ella sibling set, not twins, but still funny.

I work in a majority-black elementary school and you would not believe the names we get of twins and close-in-age siblings. Will not repeat here as some reading probably also work at my school.

Far worse than Da'King and Da'Queen.

I hope she never finds this thread, but...my MIL and her twin brother are Bonnie Flo and Ronnie Joe.

I knew girl/boy twins named Rainy Day and Jason William. I thought it was so weird that they went standard with one name and hippy nature with the other.

Which reminds me, this isn't twin related, but I know a white American woman who was married to a man from another country, and all SEVEN of her kids have names from his country that are hard to pronounce. Then she was divorced, became pregnant by an American guy and baby #8 is named Fred. I'm not going to say the real names or nationality but something like Xochitl, Meztli, etc and Fred.
