Also keep in mind that not only do I have to safely pass you but seven other idiots within the next quarter mile. I can't just jump onto the bike path to get away from you. I don't want to hit you I just want to get where I'm going (just like you!!!!!!!). Simply put the amount of peds and bikes on places like Beach Drive ARE creating a safety hazard. Please exercise some common sense. This isn't Holland.
It’s not a hobby. It’s how I get around. It’s transportation.
Then get around on the f$cking bike path.

And, did you ever notice that everyone driving slower than you is an idiot, and everyone driving faster than you is an a$$hole? (George Carlin).
Wow, you're so clever! Hey listen, do you think you could get off the gd road where you are slowing EVERYONE down and putting EVERYONE'S life in danger??
You all are going to have to make up your mind here. The OP wants cyclists to obey all the rules. Fine. But you want cyclists to pull over to allow cars to pass, when cyclists are allowed to be on the roads, and take the lane.
So cyclists should obey the rules, except when obeying the rules slows down cars, in which case they should *not* obey the rules, and defer to cars.
That's not a particularly tenable position.
Does it count as obeying the rules if the cyclist is going 20 mph in a 45 mph zone? and putting hundreds of lives in jeopardy?

I’ll keep this in mind when cyclists are running down pedestrians.
As a cyclist, I don't have any patience for others who run down pedestrians. Shooting people may be a bit much, but defending oneself is reasonable.

Are you suggesting pedestrians carry guns to defend themselves? I’ve known two people (usually fairly normal off cycle) crash and seriously hurt themselves and the pedestrians they ran over.
