OP how many people do you know who married in their 20’s and divorced? Marrying later isn’t necessarily “sad.” It can have positive effects.

Yep. When we met, I was 34. She was 25. Dated less than 2 years. Been married for 9 years now. No kids. And not planning on them.

Me and all my friends in DC, Its not that old but you need to get serious OP and dont waste anytime. In your 30s, no more dating pointlessly, no random FWB or hooking up. That will never turn serious. Its a numbers game, so go on lots of dates! After 3 months of dating, you should know exactly where you stand. Men dont play games when they are into you and serious. Do NOT move in with any man unless you are engaged and there is wedding planning going on. Handsdown, that is how women waste more time. I met DH at 35, married at 37, baby at 39. There was no convincing or negotating. We both were ready for a serious relationship, into each other, no games

I met my husband to be when I was 44 and he was 54. We both had children. We decided not to add any more.

Does it matter if it's 1st or 2nd? I married my second husband at 49. We both had kids. It's been wonderful.

Well educated people tend to get married at later ages, in case you were not aware of that.

I know a couple who met and married at the age of 50 (first marriage for her). They are a great couple.

two years after my divorce I met my DH - I was 39 and DH was 43 (also had been divorced for two years). We definitely had a whirlwind romance - the attraction was instant and the chemistry intense - and yes the sex was and still is fantastic. It all remains that way even today as we recently celebrated 20 years together.

We both had young kids from our previous marriages and worked hard over time to blend all of us into a modern day family.

I knew my DH before 30, but it was more of a once in a while acquaintance. We started dating after I turned 30. I got married just after I turned 32.
