The rioting, looting and burning will stop because Biden![]()
Funny!! You do realize that this is because your lovely mayor and governor will not ask for federal relief. Most looting occurs in democratic states. Same with lockdowns. Most all lock-downed are all blue. How long will the liberals suppress our economy.

While I don’t understand why people flat out lie without even bothering to pretend to back up their lies with even minimal factual information.
Shrug I lived here in 68. This is not 68.
Of all the trolls on DCUM, the ones claiming to be late 7s0to early 80s are the oddest.
Like, are we arguing with people using walkers? lol.
Nope. People who are capable of remembering major events that occurred during childhood. I remember the riots, and I remember the neighborhoods that were impacted because they were neighborhoods that I knew well. It’s bizarre how few people posting this site are actually from DC or even familiar with our urban history.
So how old are you?
What difference does it make? Not PP, but I'm on DCUM and am in my 50s. I've been on DCUM since the beginning. My kids are grown now.
It matters in that a 3 year old's perspective is a wee bit different than a 20 year olds.

Do you live in DC? Do you realize how little property damage there was? It's hard for the people who own businesses that were vandalized but this is a spec in the grand scheme of DC.
"Liberals" in general also value people's lives over property. How about the police stop brutalizing us. How did "conservatives" give up on freedom from government terror?
Anonymous wrote:After the riots in DC in the 1960's it took about 30 years to recover. It really was not untii gentrification that rubble was removed and burned out buildings were rebuilt.
NYC is in rough shape too.
