FIVE counts of indecent exposure, three counts of assault and battery, a count of robbery, and a count of felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. I hope those add up to plenty of jail time.
"On the evening of Sunday, September 6, police executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and took him into custody without incident. David Marlowe, 55, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with Robbery, Assault and Battery (x3), Indecent Exposure (x5) and Felony Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He is being held in the Arlington County Detention Facility on no bond."
I like how this is quietly added in. How much weed do you have to have for felony possession? I thought weed makes your mellow?

All these aggressive lycra cyclist men weaving in between people are the same - upper middle aged men in spandex looking to rekindle their inner obnoxious 20 year old jerk, except now with bad knees and less hair.
Isn't a lot of this the fault of some app where all these Lycraholes compare their times? People talked about it wrt the Bethesda creep.Glad they caught this dipsh&t.

That means not walking side-by-side and not paying attention, not teaching your kid to ride a bike on the trail on a busy Saturday. Not walking aimlessly with headphones on. And, of course, not trying to break speed records on your bike.
I bike on the trail often and sometimes with a group. We go fast when we're far west and take it easy along the busy parts. I've found that the trail is much more busy this year (gyms closed, etc.) and the walkers seem to be much more bold in terms of not making space on either side. I don't know if it's because they're sick of the cyclists or if there's just a lot of new trail walkers out there...I assume it's both.
Either way, there's a lot of blame to go around. The pace on the trail shouldn't be dictated by the slowest and most clueless walkers.

Who are these assholes who walk along the trail in both lanes like they own it and get aggrieved when instructed by cyclists to get over to the side where they belong or, preferably, OFF the damn BIKE trail?
Agree that there are assholes a plenty on these trails but all of them are multi-use.
