I hope it makes some of you feel really good to be so rude to others online. So brave.
Hey OP, can you answer the PP? Is your kid a junior who took a spot from a senior? I hope this is the end of the College Board and the SAT. I hope all the juniors who took these spots find their tests are worthless next year when all schools drop the test completely. Juniors do not need to be taking the test in August. OP, you are horrible.
My kid is in 8th grade and I dropped them off this morning. Sucks to be you if you couldn’t get your kid into a testing center.
Your kid is in middle schools and you dropped them off for an SAT test in a pandemic?
Wow, sucks to be your kid.
Yeah because being 13 vs 16 or 17 makes such HUGE difference. Sucks to be a kid whose parent is too incompetent to figure out how to get the tested
DP. there's no reason for you to risk your 13 year old's health for a test that won't be relevant to him or her for four years. But keep telling yourself that other parents are the incompetent parents.
One - how do you know what is or isn’t relevant for MY kid.
Two - I would rather be a parent who decides what’s best for their kid and gets it done than a parent who expects other parents to sacrifice what they think is right for their kids because I’m unable to manage things for my own kid.
You sound terrible. Since you don’t have a senior you don’t seem to realize that thousands of these kids have had no chance to take these tests. My DC has had 3 SATs and 3 ACTs cancelled. I am able to manage things for my children, but I can’t make COVID and school cancellations go away.
Anonymous wrote:My senior daughter’s SAT was canceled and she couldn’t reschedule. She was also disgusted when she heard there were juniors taking up seats. I do feel for the seniors. There is so much anxiety and uncertainty. To the pompous parents taking seats from seniors, not all colleges are test-optional.

Gratuitous assholery at its finest!
Maybe you should concentrate on your own kid so they don’t lose out -
I'm not the pp whose kid couldn't find a spot, but I have empathy for those whose kids didn't. Your gloating was unnecessary and obnoxious.
