Focus on the dirty dozen and buy organic for those if available. Otherwise, don't sweat it too much.

Cancer runs heavily in my family, so I try to mitigate risk wherever and whenever possible. It's a small (though very expensive) thing that eating this way works to helps ease my mind.

But if organic farming uses pesticides as well, how is that mitigating risk? Some of the pesticides they use can be worse than conventional.

I buy hormone-free eggs, milk/cheese, and meats. If grass-fed/organic meats are on sale, then I buy those. I occasionally buy organic fruits/veggies. I try to buy local as often as possible.

I used to, but my kids still have common problem (for this age). Problems *I* did not have... so now I get organic when it is convenient only and if not available, I get regular. I no longer pass it if there is no organic available.

For meat I always get grass fed because it tastes better and it was what I was raised with.

Eggs I get free range.

Milk I get grass fed.

Chicken I get no antibiotics/hormones. That is about it.

OP here. I don’t know. I’m rarely on here and decided to ask what others do. I don’t look up older threads.

Ignore them OP. Don't know why they feel the need to post instead of moving on.
