For a brief time last night, I was able to get into myMCPS Classroom and see some unpublished courses that it looked like my 7th grader is enrolled in -- they showed up on the list of "All Courses". They aren't visible this morning (and I warned my kid that what we saw may still change), but my kid was happy to see that it looks like they got into an elective they wanted, and also to see a couple of teachers' names.
I wonder what the reasoning is for them to withhold the 9th grade schedules. It seems like it would be nice for the kids to have access to it before orientation tomorrow?

Anonymous wrote:My 9th grader has orientation tomorrow but she doesn’t see her schedule. Do the 9th graders just get their schedule at Orientation usually? She’s already a bit nervous about being totally lost!

DD said Northwood has not posted yet.
I only care because they both took summer classes to get ahead a year in a subject and I want to make sure they are enrolled in the next level as we requested.
I can't see my kid's schedule in ParentVue yet, but if I go into "Course History" I can see what classes they have taken in the past and, more interestingly, what graduation requirements show up as "in progress". If I click on the "in progress" yellow bars, I see names of actual classes that match the classes she requested in the spring. I don't know for sure if they reflect what will be on her schedule, but you might take a look there and see if you find anything helpful about your kids. It might not be helpful, though, if you're looking for classes that don't fill those graduation requirement categories.
Thanks!

This got me started doing some digging and I found for my kid at Sherwood that if I click on Gradebook it shows me upcoming MP1 with list of all their classes/teachers/room numbers in an order that seems like an actual course schedule. If I go to MP3, the order changes, as do the classes for 2nd semester.
Tried your work around - Bummer! did not work "grade book not available for this school."
