Anyone who can go through her childhood, survive and come out as a decent human being is amazing. Bravo

Stood next to her at a concert years ago and chatted with her. She had the whole flower child vibe in real life as well. She’s very petite in person too which I wasn’t expecting.
She's 5'4" and tends towards chubby. Maybe you saw her when she was slimmed down for a role or something?
You mean normal?
She has the Barrymore face:

Big jawed and moon shaped. She’s not fat.
Ok, let's be real. She doesn't look ANYTHING like the Barrymore side. That's just absurd. She looks like her mother.

Famous airheads pay someone to write their books, people. Did you really believe that so many celebrities, most of whom have limited high school educations only, have actually written books?
I think it is hilarious that people here actually think this empty-headed woman wrote her own book.
People, celebrity "books" are ghost written. It is an entire industry.
Sorry but successful TV and film producers, are never empty headed. They are very business minded and as she has proven, often very likable. You are a sour-puss, to say the least...
No, I'm a realist and I know a little about this industry.
Do you trully not believe her family connections helped her establish the teams she needed to do this?
no you have proved you know zero about it

She's one of my least favorite actors for sure.

I don’t know about not being smart. She co-founded a production company in 1995. But yes, she comes off as a ditz in interviews.
Lisping can sometimes be genetically impossible to correct.
I find her annoying at times but I do admire her in some ways. Her mother had primary custody of her and basically let her young child party like an adult. The fact that she didn’t die young is pretty amazing. She got into rehab and has had a successful career from child actress into adulthood.
I can only think of a few people who did this successfully like Ron Howard and Jason Bateman. They both were raised by better parents.
Brooke Shields
Yeah, and they all had way better parents than Drew.
Eh, debatable that Teri was way better than Jade Barrymore.
*Teri Shields
