Regarding recruiting, we don't even know if sports will survive at most schools so recruiting is not a priority.

Top three or four brackets? Just stop. That’s not very strong. GTFOH.

Dude, the top 10 brackets of the jefferson cup in march had all top 5 teams in it. Have you never looked at a Jefferson cup bracket?

In the 06 age group, there were #1 ranked teams in the top 6 brackets.

You seriously have no clue. This isnt the Soccerplex August cup bro.

Well, we all apologize now VDA dad, after-all you closed out your argument with "bro". This is a top notch tournament after-all. The Jeff Cup had 10 brackets, this has 3. It is a nice little scrimmage fest, that is all. An $1100 scrimmage fest for 06, but a scrimmage fest none the less.

Listen - go ahead and attend this tournament. Buy the T shirt that says JEFF CUP logo in big letters with “fall kickoff” in tiny letters at the bottom. Maybe you win your bracket. Lie to your kids and friends and tell them you won Jeff Cup. Be proud. Wear the BS tshirt at the BBQ.

But don’t try to convince those of us that know better. Just like ODP has nothing to do with the Olympics. Just a name to get your $$$ from your wallet into their hands.

Dude, the way you are talking it almost sounds like you are talking about Jeff Cup. You know this is not it - right? Many top teams missing. Stop making this something that it’s not.

Yes. Please. Let's continue with the same "Do you think there will be soccer in our lifetime?" threads. We need more of those on this forum.

Please stop being idiots. This is nothing more than a glorified pre-season scrimmage with referees before we head into the abys. Just leave your pride at home and let your kid get in some touches against good competition. We all know this is not UEFA, Champions League or Copa America.

Weak compared to what other available options? If you aren’t playing, how do you know you are still best. Prove it, play it. Until then, plug it.

They have the top clubs from NoVa.

Who does? The NOT JEFF CUP fall kickoff tournament? LMAO. Sure.

Name the clubs who were left out that could win a bracket?

LOL. Another parent who thinks this is Jeff Cup with top teams in top brackets. Priceless.

There ARE some top teams in top brackets though. Stop being such an a s s h o l e

Name the clubs from NoVa who are better vs the clubs in the Jeff cup fall kickoff? For any NoVa club it’s a good quality tournament. I do not expect any of the NoVa teams to win because they are not strong clubs.

Just stop. Who cares

Any early predictions on top contenders?

How can you go to a tournament if your state is not allowing you to play games? Bethesda is in numerous brackets and they won't let anyone play 5 v 5 in the county.

What does one have to do with the other?

Because the organization that gives you the player pass has said that you can't play. Maryland soccer the following: PLEASE NOTE: MSYSA INSURANCE IS ONLY IN EFFECT IF YOUR ACTIVITIES ARE CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES.

This wrong in two respects. First, this merely says that insurance is not effective if activities are not consistent with local health and safety requirements and guidelines. It does not prohibit you from playing. Second, this is a nonsensical reading of that language. For example, if Bethesda were permitted to play in Bethesda, but play is not permitted in Richmond, and Bethesda played in Richmond, do you think their insurance would cover them for play that was consistent with where the club is headquartered, but conflicting with where they actually played? If play is permitted in Richmond, they may play in Richmond without fear of not having MSYSA insurance.

And the second part, please? Answer? Bueller? Bueller?

If you don't have insurance from your organization that issued the player pass, you think it's okay to play?
