Millennial white men are really humorous, hiding behind the skirt of AOC. They think they can get what they want from wealthy older white men (Republicans), with AOC as their mouthpiece. They are disrespectful by calling her hot. Don't they know Republicans find the blonde bombshells hot? There are plenty of Latina women who Republicans could recruit into their ranks if they really cared. The don't give her as much thought as you think. They still hold all the wealth and power. They're not sharing.

I think it is because she unseated a long-term sitting democrat- the Republicans especially have had to make the choice to be "Trump Republicans" and they know that this could come at the cost of being unseated in the primaries themselves since much of what Trump espouses is not in line with traditional Republican values (eg he does not have family values, he does not believe in states rights, he starts trade wars, he has increased federal spending).

Because she's hot and says things that get them all riled up in their brains and their pants.

She is a very effective communicator. Say whatever else you will - she's extremely good at saying what she thinks, in a compelling and understandable way. Do I want to live in her America? I mean, better hers than Trump's - but no, I am a boring middle-aged moderate. I want to live in Biden's America. But I think she is good at what she does.

Anyway it's funny seeing Trump lovers obsess about her. I think they've got posters of her on their bedroom ceilings.

If Trump is booted from office, I'm sure most of the center/left won't care about Dear Leader other than to look back in horror and try to clean up the mess. After enough time has passed, he'll be mostly used as a punchline.

Defund the police - translation, reduce the burden on actual police by shifting certain calls to other professionals, and shift corresponding monies accordingly.
