Yes, this was the case for me. I had such a hard time getting pregnant at 30. Now, at 41 I have to be so careful. I get pregnant very easily and my cycle has shortened from 45+ days at 30 to now 29 days at 41.

Currently pregnant w baby #5

My AMH skyrocketing with my age isn't a sign of good fertility. It's a sign of total metabolic and hormonal dysfunction. I've now met with OB, PC, RE and Endo. All 3 believe PCOS doesn't need to be treated. I don't have diabetes therefore the negative symptoms aren't worthy of being treated. It's frustrating.

A normal woman might get 10 eggs from IVF and 9 embryos. I had 30+ and 1. Very, very low quality. The moment I got my PCOS treated? 7x improvement in quality.



How did you get it treated?

Any doctors who says this is full of SH&T.

All 3 believe PCOS doesn't need to be treated. I don't have diabetes therefore the negative symptoms aren't worthy of being treated. It's frustrating.

I was in an online support group with 20 other women who got pregnant by IVF. In that group there were 3 women with PCOS who had twins who conceived a 3rd child naturally—actually all unplanned because they thought they couldn’t conceive. One woman got pregnant 8 weeks after giving birth; the other two 2-3 years out. All were about 26-30 yrs old when their twins were born, so still young.

This is my experience too. Now in early 40s with regular periods something that never happened in my teens, twenties or thirties. I conceived my last child age 39.



Exactly my experience as well. After decades of very infrequent, horrible (large clots) periods 2x3 times per year, now in my 40s I have a normal 30-day cycle.



Same here. I'm now 53 almost 54 and still have very regular cycles. It's weird because all of my friends are done, and I'm over it at this point. Very happy not to see the giant clots anymore though!

Are you resurrecting an ancient thread to ask a question?

I have PCOS. Finally conceived first DD after several years of failed infertility treatments via FET. Followed that up with several more years of failed attempts to conceive again. Gave up when I was 39. Ended up with a surprise pregnancy at 41, and 2nd DD was born just after I turned 42.

I'm 41. I had been diagnosed with pcos st age 26. At age 29 I became pregnant and I had an abortion unfortunately. It was a very large mistake yes. I'm 41 now and I am ready for but my chances may be gone. After the abortion my periods became regular. Before I may have had one once or twice per year.
