She charges $1500 - $5000 plus travel expenses. It's on her website.

It is definitely real and definitely very generational. Most younger people don't care if you are "wheatish" but older folks will just come out and say it is a deal breaker (obviously not in all families, many have moved away from caring about this).

I'm always surprised at how much people value height, I forgot about that being a thing, honestly, even for women.

I too, love the vignette's of the couples in the beginning.

I love all matchmaking shows and kind of wish I could figure out how to fall into this line of work!

NP here. I loved the season - but was curious why caste was never really explicitly mentioned. Is that because everyone who uses Sima Auntie is a high caste? Or because Indians in America don’t care about that, or because they edited it out because it would be too confusing for a white audience, or some other reason? It basically didn’t come up. I thought that even saying you want a partner from a specific region of India isn’t specific enough. Could someone explain this to someone who knows nothing about this? Thanks!
