Well now they're saying "we're doing the academy system". Okay, but it's not going to be an academy where there's just one team anyways. Do you know how many age groups will have just one team? I'll give you a hint: it's several. So, we're going to do the academy system, but we're not.
New staff, same result. Told one thing, doing another.

Anyways, the Redskins, Lee High School, Washington and Lee High School, University of Miami (OH), etc can all change their name. But Lee Mount Vernon? Apparently too hard? I don't get it.
There is a Parent Advisory Committee. Just email them and ask if they plan on changing the name or surveying the parents. If not boycott them if it goes against your beliefs. I believe they should but not enough so to put any effort into them doing so.
um quick interjection (i'm not the pp). parent advisory committee last year told us "coaches get two years with a team". and this year i once again see several girls age groups in their third year with their coach. so, no thank you i don't feel like being lied to again.
What coach would you have wanted? It's not like they have many that anyone wants. And any change is likely to get you LB as the coach.
It would be nice not to be lied to. No matter what, DD would be on a road straight to LB seeing as she always gets the oldest age groups for girls.
Looking at coaching assignments, she is not assigned to any of the older age groups.
I'll break it down. If we stay, my worry is she will be.
I doubt they'll make coaching changes from those already announced.
One more time: they didn't make coaching changes when THEY SAID they would make coaching changes. "All coaches will get two years per team, because players are like students and students need new teachers." I was there. It was a lie.
Right, but who did you want? You presumably have an 05. Who did you think they would put in that position?
