They have alarm clocks. The things that plug in, have a radio, alarm, etc.

Not “most.” A few. Usually those with arbitrarily strict parents hellbent on controlling their kids’ every move.

My brothers children are like this. It makes it difficult for my own daughter to play with her cousins, who are the same age, because they have just been exposed to so much. My 8 year old nephew watches a YouTube channel where men in fancy cars drive around testing women to see if they are gold diggers. Then the men leave the women stranded on the side of the road once they determine the female is a gold digger. This was just one minor example of what he watches. A few weeks ago I saw his recommended videos on YouTube and surprise surprise they were porn videos. Took his phone from him and looked at his search history (only because I have occasionally let my daughter watch him play games over his shoulder and was concerned about what she may be seeing) and his phone was filled with porn websites and let me just say ... the stuff he looked up was not normal in any way. They go to bed with their phones. Sad, that their entire childhood went by so fast because their parents are not observant enough to keep on top of it. Both the boys have figured out how to delete individual history now, so while it may look like your children are just watching innocent videos, it’s not always true. Not saying this is the case for everyone, but just more of a heads up for some who think children will naturally self regulate and select appropriate videos all the time. Some will, most probably won’t imo.

TV is a heck of alot safer than letting them unrestricted access to the internet.

I wont let my 9 year old watch tik tok videos. In fact i have stopped all games with messaging functionality just for mentsl health reasons. Your sister is a lazy parent.
