Yes just did a well check and brought both kids. We all had surgical masks as did my ped. Felt very safe!
Thank goodness we did dentist in January so I have no problem waiting a year to 18m to go again. I hate the dentist!

Why no way dentist? We have appointments coming up for our kids and don't want to put them off in case the numbers go up again. I assume the dentist and the hygienist will wear face shields, do temperature checks, and everything will be sanitized (as usual). If they only wear face masks, I might not like that. I can't imagine they'd have their face that close to someone and not wear both a mask and a shield.

Because there are way more aerosols in dentist offices from people having their teeth cleaned and being unmasked than there are at the pediatrician. Dentist friends tell me they are afraid to go to work because of, but are only doing so to keep their businesses from going under. I've done the ped with my infant throughout to keep up vaccines and it's pretty much been in and out with everyone masked and ped in full PPE.

Please don’t do this. The risk is greater for other things if you DONT go. Please go

What exactly are we at greater risk for? Most doctors give me the blow off so its not worth it. I'm surprised doctors are even having that many visits. Most of mine are phone calls or video calls. I have absolutely no reason to bring in a healthy child and put them at risk.

I will go to one appointment for them to give me a medication I cannot do at home but I would't do it if I had any other options beyond suffering.

Because sometimes kids look healthy and it turns out they aren't. Pediatricians offices are taking things REALLY seriously and it's safer there than a lot of other places people are going in Phase 3.
