1. CoVid is not the threat that it once was. Death rates have been trending down even through the spike. NoVa reported no new deaths today.
2. Kids need to get out and get exercise AND have some fun!!! Why are parents so against that?!? (LOL, at the TikTok post, my kids loves TikTok!)
3. I have no idea what the Refs issues are? I’m sure refs are hurting for money unlike many PP that frequent this site.
4. To be honest, I find it upsetting that a simple few want to ruin tournaments for everyone else! I do not know of one parent from our team that shares the same sentiment. Did anyone else play sports here? Trust me when I say if you are PP worried about your DC injuring themselves after a break, then they aren’t going to have a shot at scholarship anyway. That just tells me you DC hasn’t been putting in the work during down time. My DD is more ready than she was before the break!!!

Can the same be said for her teammates? The opposing team?
Jeff Cup will be a mess. Crappy soccer, poor college coach turnout, unnecessary hotel stay. The list goes on. Clubs from outside the region will not bother to attend because they do not want to stay overnight. Other more north eastern parents do not want to play in Richmond in August.
It is going to be a crappy tournament no matter how you slice it. Good luck to your kid though.
Thanks I guess?!? Yes, the whole team is looking forward to playing and so are the parents. Parents are more worried about restrictions on spectating than anything else. I cannot speak for other teams. No offense but I hope they are not as negative as you. It’s probably not a good idea to generalize everything and everyone. An opinion is fine however.
Its always great to have one person who can speak for everyone.
Scholarships are not going to be the same, if they even exist going forward, the financial effect on colleges is huge. P5 conferences will hold on as long as they can but most will gravitate towards student-athlete as soccer is a non-revenue considered sport in NCAA. Anyone thinking scholarship better start saving $.

07 GA FCV is playing.
Just stay home if your scared. I’m sure your girls have an excellent future in TikTok.

FCV on the girls side is for sure playing.
Do not count on it,
Anonymous wrote:Heard no tournaments are able to get licensed refs. No licensed refs -- no insurance -- no games. Apparently the ref associations are not approving play yet.
