#1 team in US in 2017.

That group at Landon was indeed a special team. Maybe one of the best ever at the HS level. However, as unfortunate as it may be, it is now ancient history. Bullis has clearly taken the reigns as the big dog in the IAC, and Gonzaga and Bullis are the 800 lb. gorilla's of the D.C. lacrosse world. With the glut of DC Express talent on Bullis, one could argue that they could be #1 in the nation if we ever get back to some normalcy.

A bunch of Landon kids on DCE 2022 team that are outstanding. Don’t count out Landon. Only 3 years removed from being undefeated and #1 team. When was the last time Bullis, Prep or GZ did that?

Is the exposure worth trying out? Assuming kid won’t make the team.

What would be the pros/cons?
It is called Landon isn’t a powerhouse anymore. All the good athletes have left, the head of the school has changed the culture and it is more about academics than sports
This is correct. We will also see with the next UA round of tryouts for Freshman and Sophomores that Prep, SJC, Gonzaga, and a few other various schools will fill the rosters with Landon being possibly left out.

I think the DCE 21 team has like 11 or 12 kids on the team from a handful of High Schools. Best team in HS club lacrosse, so makes sense I guess.

None of the younger kids were at those parties. It is the holy child girls who have had all the parties passing along COVID

Weird not seeing any Landon kids. Any insight here? Was that a COVID related decision?

From what I understand, many Landon boys have tested positive for COVID thanks to graduation parties. They weren't allowed to try out.

When and where will the games be played? Will they be live streamed?

Wouldn’t the big game feature the 2020 class?

Last year, DC Highlite team lost in finals to Baltimore.

Also missing Madlax midfield commit to U Md. who is rated #5 player in the country. Did not try out. He is from Delaware but played for DC Under Armour team the last two years.
