Not a single person has asked me about shopping at minority-owned businesses.

I wouldn't say it is fake, but it's likely racist. You just discriminated against a business owner due to the color of their skin.

That is not discrimination.

By the very literal definition of the word, it is discrimination. But it’s discrimination that we as a society (or at least part of our society) have decided is okay, or even necessary,, to support minorities. At this moment we’re choosing one minority group over a host of others, which some may see fault with.

No. I shop where it’s best for me and my family, regardless of the color of the proprietor’s skin.

Some people wring their hands and worry just a little too much.

Here is a list of black owned businesses in Montgomery County.

Because in some areas, you actually get to know the people in your community.

I always choose small business over large, when I can.
I always look for women owned businesses when I can.
I'm glad to support black owned businesses as well.

I even remember the cute little Cava guys before they became big time.

I don't feel guilty when I don't but I don't walk through life blind to my surroundings.

Omg the newly woke and their social media lists are bad enough. I can’t believe you had to be confronted by someone asking if you’d seen her FB post in person. I’m liberal and supportive of BLM, but this crowd is just the worst. The book recs and the business lists. Go away.

No, I don't go out of my way to tell people where I shop and I certainly don't care what they think about where I shop. Give me a break

Amzon is owned by its shareholders, and people of any race are welcome to buy their stock.

People of any race are also welcomed to pee into bottles while working for Amazon because they can't get a break to go to the bathroom. Phillip Lee Terry was dead for a few hours before they found him. I wonder if he owned stock?

I shop at a human owned business. I honestly don't care the color of one's skin. I never did before and I maintain the same stance.

I try to shop at black owned businesses, but if the one that has the item I want is a far drive from my house, then I just shop nearby. I don't have the time to drive to Manassas to pick up baked goods, even if they look delicious. I don't feel judged for that.
