Same! Even my teenage boys won't eat more than two slices. I order an XL knowing it will be lunch the next day too.
Wait, what? Your teenage boys are grossed out by more than 2 pieces of pizza???

Anonymous wrote:I only eat thin crust as a matter of preference, but unlike other people, I’m not satisfied by 2 slices.. I usually have to eat at least 4, and I only order these when I crave. The problem is that I don’t like the way it feels in my gut. It feels really heavy and bloated at least 15 minutes after eating, also warm in my gut probably due to the oil content overall. It also doesn’t fill me up for a long time, and I end up binge eating! I guess it’s just frustrating because it’s so high in calorie yet it doesn’t last compared to other food that are as good but I have cravings once in a while. I guess next time I need to make sure I have 1 high protein meal when I’m having a pizza day.

At our house, we tend to get pizza when we don't feel like cooking and we'd like to have a break. People eat it off paper plates. It means we don't have to cook that night, just throw away the box.
I can't see how making a salad, making a vegatable, cleaning the kitchen and also ordering and picking up a pizza actually gives mom a "break from cooking." It just means she also has to order a pizza.

Stop thinking of it as an entree. Start thinking of it as a component of a full meal.
Two slices of thin crust, a salad or some sauteed peppers and onions, maybe some cucumber salad or pickles or something acidic, maybe some fruit. Maybe two slices of thin crust, a few slices of antipasto meats and cheeses? Get creative.
Stop thinking of pizza night as a plate of pizza.
Same but even two slices is too much. Why not just have one for the taste then fill up on salad or veggies?
Because that’s no way to live. Two slices is perfectly fine.
I agree with this or even three slices. There is no reason you should be feeling gross. It is just bread, cheese, and sauce. It isn't like you are eating a pound of beer battered deep fried onion rings. I think there is a mental component to why you feel gross after eating a couple slices of pizza OP
