What rock do you posters who have never heard of Audra, or think it's a made up name, live under?

It's a classic, old name. I like it OP and it works well with the sibling name.

In the 1960's there was a TV western show called the Big Valley. One of the characters on there was named Audra. So that is what came to my mind with that name.

P.S. -- Yes I am old. I am 61. My grandparents babysat me a lot when I was a kid and they liked to watch TV westerns. Audra was really pretty.

I like it too. It hits my high points of 1) Easily spelled 2) Pronounced as it is written in English 3) Not common but not Younike.

Audra sounds like a made up name. I know that it’s a real name but it has the same feel as all the regular names that were spelled in creative ways to make them sound fancier. Things like Alivia instead of Olivia or Kelli instead of Kelly. Audra is not terrible but Audrey is infinitely better.

Why not call her Audrey?

I like Audra and Audrey. As for calling her Odd-ra kids who are inclined to make fun of someone can find a way to do so with any name. That wouldn't stop me
