We got into the early scores site. I had 2 kids take APs Despite the spring disruption, all but one score was what I would have predicted.

My son too! This is insane, how can they expect them to read 5 articles and write an essay in 45 minutes.

That’s the usual timing for an AP world essay — and often there are 7 things to read. Of course normally it is 3+ hours with more sections including short answers and a 60-question multiple choice section.

If your student’s teacher knows the exam format they should have been doing their class tests in that format and timing several times during the year. CB advises 15 mins to read, 10 to organize the essay and 20 to write.

It is just that parents don’t usually

Many have already said they would. With this pandemic no one is giving a student any reason not to enroll.
