As are parents who think anyone else wants to hear about their children ad nauseum. And there are more of you, so we get to hear about little Brayden’s “achievements” a lot more than you have to listen to us talk about our great trips or lazy weekends. So shut it.

As someone who carried to term, I get 365 days a year. Yes, I only get a hand drawn card or some flowers on one of them, but I'm still far ahead.

Op here. Wow wow wow this was NOT where I was going with this at all. My specific complaint was about the child free by choice people trying to co-opt Mother’s Day because they “mother” their pets/plants. Women who have experienced miscarriage/still birth deserve all of our compassion and respect on Mother’s Day and every day.
Anonymous wrote:Am I the only one that finds this utterly obnoxious? I know several women who are child free by choice and spend the other 364 days of the year railing against children and families and going on about how it’s better to be child free. Then Mother’s Day comes around and they’re all over social media wishing themselves a happy Mother’s Day because they are “dog moms.” Just stoppppp.
