This is a developmental year. That would be a huge mistake. Stay with Mo for 2 years and you will be light years ahead of anyone at McLean and can easily switch over later. In fact if I were a McLean 08 I would switch to Arlington if it's not too late. Play for Mo on a reasonable sized team or play on a 30 person team?
hmmm. play for him before you believe the hype.
Wasn’t he coach of the year twice? What is wrong with him? Please tell me

Arlington looks for the easy way out by keeping their fingers crossed that they have enough "elite" players (who are BFS - bugger faster stronger) than most peers - simply based on numbers. When you have a squad like that anyone can coach and it makes the coach look good with Ws but little development. Cracks show as they get older.
So I know some 08 players at Arlington are unhappy with the lack of skill training and no expectation of technical play. That type of system works for some players but not for others. I have seen players regress to the point where they stop moving to space after a pass because they know the ball will rarely be passed back. How many times will you try a give and go if the other player never passes back? In the spring an hour and 1/2 practice was 55 minutes of conditioning work and four touches on the ball...at u12?
Before the pandemic I know two parents who contacted Mclean to attend a practice but got no call back. I guess MU calls you back, maybe it’s that simple?

By the way, from what I understand, all the girls on that team had DI offers including some to top programs.
