I'm the biggest opponent of HOAs ever, but even I understand why a neighborhood would want to set some limits on the amount of plastic sheeting homeowners can put on display.

Not to mention their naked silhouettes.

Did the HOA letter mention visible nudity?

Hi OP,

Generally when you get a letter from an HOA it is best to respond with a letter. I'd respond to something to the effect that you and your husband work essential jobs that cause you to have risk of covid exposure and that you built the decontamination chamber due to the world wide pandemic.
I'd tell them you will remove the decontamination chamber in about 8 weeks when the risk goes down and return the front of your house to how it was.

Something like this. In my HOA if we don't send a letter we start getting fines.

OP I'm so happy you and your DH found each other. You sound genuinely like a good match.
