How many tests do the hospitals in Maryland and Maryland Government facilities have before they got 500,000 from South Korea ???
How many of the 500,000 will they use by Fall ??? If they test 10,000 a day, that would take 50 days.

Also, no better demonstration of the fact that the US response is a complete failure. Our access to crucial public-health resources shouldn't depend on the ethnic heritage of the spouse of the governor of the state we happen to be living in.
ehhh...this is life. If you want to practice IP law in China, you better have a few Chinese speaking lawyers on your staff. Same for practicing in Europe. If you want to close a deal with a Korean firm overnight, I can see how pleasantries and some final cajoling in Korean would be handy.
I used to be in the Navy. When we would have a ship pull into country X for an exercise, You better believe that we had Country X speakers even if we had to borrow them from 'big' Navy.
Which is why the fed gov't should be doing this, but they aren't. No reason states should have to go out bidding on their own to find enough tests.
The fed gov't should procure for all states, then have FEMA handle logistics of getting them to the states.
The fed gov't has the State Department so they have native speakers at embassies throughout the world who already have local contacts and can handle the negotiations. Yet.. they aren't doing this.

Trump totally threw him under the bus in the briefing. I'd love to hear Hogan's honest response to that, he is typically way too tactful when it comes to talking about Trump, although he's obviously just trying not to incur the wrath of the Idiot in Chief.
Trump's jealous.
Absolutely. No bigger endorsement for Hogan especially in this state. Bravo.
Agreed. His standing among even liberal Democrats like myself has risen due to his response to the pandemic. Now if he could only stop kicking teachers...
