Both the USA and Singapore are first world countries. Plenty of states don’t have populations that approach Singapore’s population yet I don’t see any state with covid responses as smart as Singapore’s. Yes it’s a small country. Doesn’t mean we can’t try to do things as efficiently as they do, one day when things return to normal. I would love to get a text from my government telling me where to pick up a face mask sourced from their national strategic reserve. Instead I have to search tons of websites even for the cheapy disposable kind, determine that they are unavailable and instead google did YouTube videos on how to make a face mask from a bra strap and some pieces of cloth.
