Since she's the coach at nearby private school, why don't you and other parents email the AD asking if she's ok?Ask them if there anything they could do to get this message to her? If they want to send a detailed email about how they are continuing to pay all coaches, etc, then fine. BUT just keeping the money is not ok.
We are not all wealthy. Some of us do club sports for our kids despite not being super wealthy. The burden should not be entirely borne by the player families.
