The language is a little unclear:

ii. Caring for a family member, friend, pet, or livestock in another household
or location, including, without limitation, transporting a family member,
friend, pet, or livestock animal for essential health and safety activities,
and to obtain necessary supplies and services;

In the case of caregiving for a non-family member / friend or essential personnel (i.e. nanny caring for children of non-essential personnel), it sounds like the stay-at-home order applies?

This is a hard blow as my spouse's and my job has been crazy busy and having our nanny come (the three of us are practicing strict social distancing rules) has been a lifesaver.

Caregiving is allowed.

Honestly, his stay at home order doesn't really impact us. Exercise, hiking, biking still allowed. Essential shopping still allowed. It just gives them the ability to break up groups of people more easily.

Yeah I could not figure out what it did other than enforcement. Maybe make a few people less willing to push the boundaries/

This is what it does.

Apparently PP would if they could! By gunfire, no less! (but they are totally sane!)

No. Don’t exaggerate.

I’m not exaggerating a bit. I see people walking by my house all day long. I haven’t been outside in over a week. If I had a gun, I’d be tempted to start shooting them for being outside when we’re all supposed to be avoiding everyone.

You sound sane.

I am quite sane. As evidenced by the fact that I’M actually doing my part to stop this epidemic. If you and everyone else did what I’m doing, this thing would be over with in 3 weeks. But half measures won’t work. And every a-hole I see walking down the sidewalk in front of my apartment is undermining the sacrifices I’ve made. It’s disgusting. And yes, the police should be enforcing this in the most extreme way possible.

What’s your alternative? Just let everyone get infected and have 30 million people die?

Do it my way, and only a few thousand stupid people need to die. Do it your way, and it’s 10% of the whole country.

But I’m the insane one, according to you.

Yes, clearly you, wanting to literally murder people, are the sane one!

It's allowed under the order and you clearly need some endorphins.
