My daughter and I have been home since Thursday afternoon (besides walks/backyard). My husband got gas and picked up an extra monitor from work and now we are hunkered in place.

Is it possible to use an invisible fence with kids? I'm getting tired of reminding them of our property lines.

I think one or two zaps would do it.

Maybe switch it up by doing some Tai Chi on your patio on Tues/Thurs and take a bath instead of a shower .

Two walks a day but that’s it.

Yes I have to go to work in DC.

Besides walking the dog, I went out yesterday to fill up my gas tank. Trying to eat through most of our groceries before we go to the store again.

Oh same here, but this isn’t natural or healthy for our kids long term

Only into the backyard. We have plenty of supplies on hand and even rations if we need them. I filled up gallon jugs with water and popped them into the freezer. We have tanks of propane and bags of charcoal.

I figured something like this might happen. We are prepared to shelter in place until a vaccine is developed. I forgot to pick up more of my face cream but it's just not worth it to go out to the store or risk a delivery. So I'm experimenting with some homemade concoctions that should work for the next year or so until it's safe again.

Grocery store. Moms in Arlington was surprisingly calm and decently stocked — their bulk goods were very well stocked.

Since Saturday we’ve done bike rides, walks/jogs, kicked the soccer ball around, played tennis, grocery store and Target run, picked up a few items from the office. Today was our least active outside.

We go for walks, bike rides, tennis in the public courts. It’s so nice out we are outside but not really engaging with people except from afar. I find it all depressing.
