I think if we're still doing this in several months, other approaches to delivering care will evolve (e.g., in home visits). By the time I delivered the world will be substantially better than it is now.
I am sorry for those delivering soon - that sounds very stressful
There is no evidence that anything will be better in 9 months and that's assuming you don't catch the virus in the next 9 months while pregnant and end of fighting for your life. Keep in mind pregnant women can take nothing when ill. All the experimental drugs are off the table.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I think anyone trying right now is making a big mistake. You won't get the level of prenatal care you want besides the fact that you automatically are high risk. I really don't want to be pregnant right now or giving birth during the surge. Even my level-headed OB doesn't like the timing. Imagine doctors not having the supplies they need to save your life. Fun times.

We have a three year old and I am 38, so we don't have a lot of time left if we want a second child, but being pregnant now and feeling sick/tired from pregnancy, layered with anxiety about corona, while also juggling demanding jobs and a preschooler... all seems like too much to take on right now. We're pausing for a month or two. I know this may mean we don't have a second child. Just wanted to show there are differing approaches out there.
You should be fine. I was pregnant on the first try at age 36, 39 and on the second try at age 43!
