I find that vapid women who spend 2+ decades living on someone else’s dime don’t care. Didn’t one of the RHONYC steal her children’s inheritance?
Anonymous wrote:She may not have much of a choice. I don't know what estate taxes are in Ric's state. The problem is since two of the kids have already filed legally that legal fees will be high to settle this estate and it will probably take awhile to settle.
By Ric cutting out two kids he is kind of screwing over everyone else out because estate settlement will drag out and legal fees will take a giant chunk out of the estate.
It probably will have been cheaper if he had included all of the
kids and no one filed appeals.

5 million is not that much money particularly when there is also 6 kids involved. She should line up some modeling work. She still is attractive for the middle aged modeling gigs.

I'm thinking: there must have been a good reason why she left him after so many years.
She said he was too old - 20 years age difference. There are so many reasons why one should not marry an older guy. When I was little, my mom had a friend who married an older rich guy and she was miserable, missing out on life. My ex-bf's stepmom ran away with a younger guy because of lack of sex.
Yep. He had gotten too old for her and I don't think she wanted to become his full time caregiver.
So they separated and she got herself an energetic boyfriend that she could have fun with and she started to make a new life for herself. She knows why she left Ric and she also knows why he wrote her out of his will. She deserves whatever portion of their marital assets she was going to get in the divorce and nothing more than that.
This. Do we know if they had already settled financially? I’m curious if she had already received her assets from the divorce.
It sounds like the divorce proceedings had barely started.
Ahh. I thought they’d been separated for a few years. I was thinking the property settlement would have been done.
