a person who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

It’s racist to cite a source (Oxford English Dictionary) that was created by and still heavily influenced by white men.

Ergo, you yourself, are therefore a racist.

This is true. It is also why grammar is racist.

Talking about your neighborhood in a way that make you feel hip, laughable, but fine.
Saying someone else is from a right area, using “hood”, not ok.
But, you wouldn't say someone or something is, hood. You'd say, that's really ghetto, or, you're so ghetto. Also, not racist.

It’s not offensive when used in rap songs....I think that there are different rules for different people.

This is the whitest answer ever given.

And you and op are both Russian trolls trying to make liberals look unhinged.

It doesn’t require trolls to make libs look unhinged. Their own real, genuine posts are more than sufficient to achieve that.

That is world’s most snowflake list I’ve ever seen.

I’m making it a point to try to incorporate as many of these as possible in my everyday conversations.

I say I live in the hood because we live in a more economically disadvantaged area, and the police are often on our street people throw out trash in everones yards or collect trash so obviously in this context it is racist, but all the people here are not of one ethnic distinction. Thank you for the answers I’ve decided not to use the phrase again .
