Mine are 11.5 months apart. Irish twins. When people with two under two tell me they have Irish twins I’m like yeah nice try.

What OP is saying is that she is looking for advice from people with Irish twins, from people with babies 24 months apart, and from people with children spaced apart all the number of months in between. So (from) Irish twins up to 24 months apart. Which she is getting from the posters not obsessing over the way she wrote her title.

My husband and his brother are 11 months apart. So his Mom was pregnant at her post birth follow up. No sugar coating it, super hard for her and they fought like cats and dogs their whole life. They are close now, but it definitely wasn't a sunshine and rainbows situation.

My mom had three of us within three years. It was tough for her when we were young although she did have some help for awhile.

I had two, five years apart, didn't want to make my life that difficult, although I will say that for the three of us siblings growing up it was great to be so close in age.

Really? Quite a few? Just in your moms' group? LESS THAN 12 months apart?

Among the 7 couples that birthed with my midwives the same month as I did, 2 of the first-time moms did get pregnant again pretty quickly, both times unintentionally... but they were still 15-18 months apart. Not less than 12. I know a fair number of people who had 2 under 2, but my comment was about "real" ITs, and that's <12 months apart.

I am one of 3, all 15 months apart, Great, close childhood. I did the same for my own family. My mom said it was easier to have them all together, as we all played with each other and did not cling to her every moment. I found the same to be true.

Um, if you get pregnant when your baby is 2 months old, that would make your next baby born when the first is only 11 months old. That’s an example of Irish twins. And also an example of two kids under the age of 12 months. Um, do you understand now, um sweetie?

Yes this is true...if You didn’t come home from the hospital til your baby was 9 months old.

omg this is great.

if you get pregnant the day you come home from the hospital then baby 1 is 0. if 9 months later you have baby 2 then baby one is 9 months. Not sure where 18 months came from!!!
