Only a couple clubs in the area have a good history of college placement.
True for the moment but it changes as VDA’s better players and teams move into recruiting ages. Building a sustainable program does not happen overnight.

Ahh, the past. When McLean and FCV were the only ECNL options in town. And now there are like seven elite options in NOVA.
Why would anyone be shocked at all that the past "college placements" had zero to do with the clubs themselves and all to do with the fact they were the only two elite options?
They could have been called Minnie and Goofy and the situation would have been the same. That time is over.
History and tradition are the refuge of those who do not want to compete in the present or future. True outside of youth soccer as well.

I would rather VSA go it alone and not give up prime field space and practice times to VDA.
The partnership is no longer needed with the 2 tiered boys DA and everyone that wants ECNL getting it.

They can’t. PWSI owns the spots in each league.
