I know someone who did this with GW med school, but they ended the program and didn't bother to tell her before she died. Her family then had to find another place, which they ultimately did, but it wasn't easy.
I know another person who signed up with a quaker group and it worked out fine. They just came in a few hours after she died and took her away.
