FCV gave VPSL notice that they were leaving the league in the fall. In a dick move, VPSL, cancelled FCVs already scheduled spring games.
While the level of competition was fine in VPSL, clearly their management has issues. #Notarealleague
VPSL is arguably a higher level of play than in NCSL... This is the best they could do? #NotAGreatAlternative![]()
A crack surely caused by the cancerous elements in certain club that don’t care on throwing trash on individuals and clubs. What is VPSL? Another acronym for NPL? I am not surprised then why some friends don’t know which league their children do. It is too confusing but yeah reflects how organized this league is. On average how many games a team in that league gets to play per season vs NCSL or CCL?
CCL would have been a much better option.
Probably a better choice but the process to get in to CCL doesn't happen over night.
They will never get into CCL.
Used to be in CCL. Left for NPL. NCSL and EDP only options left.

It's probably debatable that NPL is at a higher level than NCSL Div 1 these days. But this may have nothing to do with that, it could be that they don't want to be associated with ECNL RL which is what NPL is called in VA these days. Maybe it's a USSF directive.
What is ECNL RL?
It is not ECNL at all. It is the NPL rebranded.

Communication from a few weeks ago was that we would be playing NPL. The lack of games scheduled on the NPL website for FCV does make one wonder if that is not the case. It may be an NPL decision or a St James decision. I’m almost certain this isn’t something that FCV’s coaches - esp on the boys side - would want.
+1
We were also told that we would participate in EDP if there were not any schedule conflicts with NPL games.
The point is that EDP games are scheduled by the team manager/coaches so can be done so as to not conflict with other league games. If it is not being done that can be chalked up to disinterest/laziness on the scheduling front rather than a true conflict with another league.
