Not really. It’s futsal so, you know...
Right. Well all of it is youth sports, so none of it is worth caring about beyond your kid and team unless you are a coach, you know. . . Go back to playing kick and run outdoors. Don’t worry. They will be back out there in no time.
Yea whatever. Futsal is a drill like rondos are a drill. You want to give medals for the best warmup, best rondo, best futsal, ok. Have fun with your snowflake everyone gets a trophy kid.

By the way no surprise coach Marcus disputes the game again and argues with ref all up i his face about a foul call that led to the game winning goal. I’m sure we can expect more posts about the bad refs and how dc hyper is better and blah blah blah

It came to my attention that on instagram DC HYPER made a statement about being robbed from the Alexandria tournament and now with actual FIFA refs they won. What does everyone think? Maybe they are on to something. they beat Alexandria 07 boys 6 to 1. Thoughts?
They both beat the two Richmond United teams. So much for tournaments being watered down because DA teams don’t play in them !
Richmond United is not a DA team it's a ECNL team
Richmond United Boys is DA. Girls are ECNL, but not applicable to this thread.
Ok let’s get a couple things straight. Yes - RU 07 boys is DA and had 2 teams in the tournament in Richmond. It is relevant - Alexandria had to go through both DA teams to get to the final. They played against both DA teams AND the final with Hyper all in the same day. But go ahead and leave that out of the discussion and just post the one score with hyper. Let’s see your rec team play against 2 DA teams and then an hour later play against Hyper and see how you do.
you're right Hyper went to the finals without beating single opponent
You can only play who's on the schedule. Hyper beat everyone they faced. Cant say the same for anyone else.
Absolutely true. But the real victory is that their coach didn't try assault anyone, and the 12 year old boys weren't forced to tell the ref to F off and give them the finger. Great job Hyper! Nobody had to call the cops this time!

I'm not an Alexandria supporter but DC Hyper deserves all the crap they get over that incident and especially since the coach never even apologized. He put out on IG that the refs were terrible, etc. No remorse. No regret. No apologies. He's a D.
If you know the coach. Then you know he is a great guy. Came from Brasil and worked hard to build a very successful life here. He teaches those kids that you need to stand up for yourself and its not just good enough in life to compete. You need to push through the competition to succeed. Ok you say he set bad example for kids that day? What about the parents and clubs that ae teaching these kids that in life you'll be fine as long as your parents can afford to pay you'll be in the program "successful". which is a bigger crime and why our youth is becoming an entitled failure. Bravo coach Wilson continue to use futsal as a tool for creating great futsal players and strong minded adults of the future.
