+1. We had a big bin of dress up clothes at my daughter's party and kids changed dresses and accessories often. I think everyone tried on a princess dress at least once, but there were lots of options and trading. No big deal.Anonymous wrote:We just had a princess party for my 4 year old who is obsessed with princesses. I encouraged dress up but we also had tons of extra costumes around for kids. One girl came dressed in a NASA costume and one girl came in a pirate costume. And some kids didn't dress up at all. Absolutely no one cared. Let your daughter wear whatever she wants.

She is a princess in a Disney movie. But she is not an "official" Disney Princess (yes, there is a difference but I don't claim to understand it). The 12 "official" princesses are Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel, Tiana, Moana, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, Merida, Pocahontas, Jasmine and Mulan.
There are official and unofficial princesses? Weird.
Anyway, you guys, Elsa is a queen.

Our kids attend a pricey preschool. I bet we are the only family without any princess dresses laying around.
