I find this hard to believe.
So it's quite open?

This is the situation at GDS as well. Anyone claiming GDS has a bigger drug problem is uninformed. My kid has a fairly social group of friends and in 9th-10th no one is using hard drugs but I've heard that some kids have smoked weed. Some kids drink too. Neither seems to be that common (and I personally don't consider one worse than the other). Have never heard of any parents giving their kids weed but as it's legal in DC I'm sure some parents have it at home and kids find it. I have heard of a couple of parties where parents were home and alcohol was present. These were held by students from several different schools. Not sure if the parents knew or not!
How many kids were listed in the excelsheet of the GDS student-dealer?
Student-dealer? Spreadsheet? Could you be a little bit more specific
About 3 years ago a student was found to be dealing drugs to other students. He was expelled and yes, the smoking gun was an excel spreadsheet.
How many students appeared in the spreadsheet?
I'm guessing that, if he kept one to begin with, there must have been quite a number of kids involved.
No one knows? Did the school not share this with parents?
Why would the school share that with the parents?
I would hope the school would notify parents of kids on the list. It's a list of known druggies and pushers. Best to get on top of that for most schools. Or brush it under the rug for others.
No school is sharing the list. Invasion of privacy. They could be sued. That would be a disaster.
Of course they can't share the list of druggies. But they can, and should, state that they found X students were buying drugs and that is against school policy and they will fix the matter by doing A and B and C.
Instead, they tried to hide it under the rug?
