TBH, I sort of regret it if only because I totally lost interest in trying the trial because it seemed to be a buffet of women out there. Which it is, but as they say in the divorced dating world, the odds are good but the goods are odd. Finding a FWB is simple, a relationship is not.

Tell us how you accomplished that? I want some. I’m sure several of here would. Dish the secrets.

You go girl! I hope it will be great for you!
This thread is making me feel less of an oddity about being a divorced mom that hasn't had sex since my split in 2016![]()
It's not that I don't want to but I am not interested in married men and I don't meet a lot of single guys in my every day life. My goal for 2020 is to change this.
I agree. I thought I was the only one.
Also agree to the hell no on married men. Now that I am on the flip side of being cheated on by my husband, I am clear that he was the aggressor in the cheating. Married men are truly something else, so many of them are willing to cheat on their wives...

Nah. It actually takes work for men to have sex. Can't just go into a bar and lift up your skirt like a woman can. If it's been years since you've had a first date, it's tough. And for a while, even flirting with new women makes you feel vaguely guilty like you're cheating ("wife might find out") or something. Takes time to shake off that thought pattern that got ingrained over years of marriage.
My divorce has been final for a few months, I haven't even tried yet.
What kind of bars have you been visiting?
Where are the bars where you find compatible females DTF?
I would not be DTF with anyone in a bar where women are lifting their skirts. Sounds like STD Central.
It was a figure of speech, folks. (And also one that revealed how old I am, since apparently people don't go to bars to get laid any more.) The point is that women can very easily get sex. Pretty much just walk up to any normal-looking man and ask, and there you go, itch scratched. Not quite so easy for men, alas...

Bull crap and that is a very narrow, almost misogynistic view of women. I’m a woman and was getting laid within a week of declaring our separation. After years of a sexless marriage, I was ready to go!
