If you are by some miracle pregnant, maybe it was meant to be!
of course, what else would you do to avoid pregnancy? At 46, other forms of birth control lead to blood clots.Anonymous wrote:Married and using condoms?

Especially the late 40’s are not being 100% real.
They likely are using either frozen eggs of their own or are using a donor egg.
It is next to impossible to get pregnant after 45 on ones own, carry the pregnancy to term for the full forty wks, then deliver a full-term baby, at a healthy birthweight w/no birth defects or Down Syndrome.
The only people that claim they or someone they know has done it is only people online.
And everyone knows that not everything you read online speaks truth.
You go ahead and feel that.![]()
At 45, a woman's likelihood of getting pregnant is no more than 3 or 4 percent.
That's not to say it's impossible, but assisted reproductive technologies are almost always necessary, with IVF the most common.
"The few eggs you have left may have chromosomal abnormalities, so screening before IVF is critical.”
Success rates are 0 to 1 percent, and most clinics recommend using eggs donated by a younger woman for those who want to conceive between ages 46 and 50.

Why do you use condoms if you are married?
Not trying to be snarky - -
Just curious.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Married and using condoms?
Many of us do! I am OP’s age, also use condoms due to low frequency (marriage is good though, thanks!) and the increased risk of hormonal methods at our age. The birth control decision making changes as you age and life changes! I’ve used every other method out there over the years, as well.
