OP-- updating that we did include the WISC in the initial packet, and child was found eligible.
FWIW, after we gave the FSIQ and parent questionnaire to the in-school AART, kid started getting level 2 pullouts as well. I really do think they hadn't tracked kid as particularly bright before then!

Was that last year? There were a lot of crazy results last year. Did you ever get the GBRS for that kid?
This was last year. I don't recall the GBRS but it was good. We were surprised she was rejected first round.
I honestly feel like there were a bunch of first round mistakes last year and that it would not have mattered what you submitted in appeal. A new set of eyes would have corrected that mistake. Did you go to GMU or a private psychologist for the IQ testing?
Mom with the child who had 134 WISC and was rejected, had WISC done at GMU. In appeal we got SB from private psychologist.

PP here whose daughter was rejected. Yep, we went through GMU. Scored 129 on WISC.

Me again — the parent whose kid was rejected after having a WISC in the 97th percentile. We did go to GMU this summer for the test.

Wow, a WISC of 134? And you still had to appeal? That's weird but I am in the same situation. My daughter got a 129 on the WISC, which we submitted first round. GBRS scores and comments were glowing.
So what is it you submitted on appeal that swayed the committee to accept your son/daughter for Level IV? That's what I am struggling with....
We added 2 recommendation letters, more work samples and had her take the SB where she scored 140 so I talked about how 2 IQ tests confirmed she needed to be in AAP.
